Art and activism in action; questioning the idea of traditional performance spaces. The series is a collection of miniatures, each movement a musical obituary to an extinct animal, and a statement by the creator, who will never complete the series in her lifetime. Collections from this series are being presented in hour-long segments, free of charge in open air spaces where man intersects nature to raise awareness of the irreversible ramifications of climate change. Five performances will take place in three of New York’s boroughs: Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan, performed by violin soloist, Adam von Housen.
